Canada anemone (anemone canadensis) is native to northwestern Ontario, growing in wet to average soil in full to partial sun. It grows about 12 to 18 inches and is a vigorous spreader in the garden. It is great for a groundcover because it spreads so fast. It is not easily controlled, but its beautiful spring flowers and pretty leaves are lovely.
