Wild mint is a native perennial that can be found in many areas along lakes. It prefers wet to average soil. It spreads by rhizomes and has the potential to be aggressive, but is not invasive like non-native mint species. Its flowers provide important food for native bees. It is aromatic and deer tend to avoid it.

Seeds sourced from Prairie Moon.

Mentha arvensis
