Porcupine sedge is a unique looking wetland sedge. It is happiest with wet feet in full sun, although I have seen it grow in average-wet soil. It will rarely grow taller than 2 feet. Its seed heads are not only great food for birds, but offer a unique texture and look. Great for a rain garden!
