Big bluestem is the typical and dominant grass of tall grass prairies, but also grows in northwestern Ontario. Also known as turkey's foot, it is a lovely clumping grass. It will grow in full to partial sun and medium wet to dry conditions, making it suitable for a variety of gardens. It will grow to about 7 ft.
Seeds sourced locally. Native to northwestern Ontario.
