Bee balm or monarda fistulosa is a favourite of pollinators. It grows to about 4 ft. and has pale purple flowers. It will grow in a variety of soil conditions from medium wet to dry.
Please note that although wild bergamot is generally lavender in colour, the flowers can also be pink or purple depending on cross pollination. Our seeds are collected from our wild bergamot and we make every effort to collect solely from wild bergamot not from cultivars or hybrids, but we cannot guarantee 100% straight species.
