Canada wild rye is a native grass that is not very long lived, but will self seed. It grows in full to partial sun, in medium wet to dry soils, and will grow to about 5 ft.
Seeds sourced locally, from Prairie Moon nursery in Minnesota, and from Akene in Quebec. Native to northwestern Ontario.
